At just 10 minutes from Mantua, the Corte Casone is an ancient farmhouse whose name had already appeared in some documents of the early 15th century. Now it is a dairy farm situated in the heart of Parco del Mincio, a natural reserve which offers wide green spaces, trees and plants of different types and the opportunity of sightseeing the natural fauna in its typical environment.

The wide garden surrounding the farmhouse is provided with tables and forms in order to let visitors picnic in a relaxing open space in the trees shadow or let them simply enjoy the peaceful countryside; our B&B also offers a free car parking place, situated in the front of the house. Inside the house you will find a cosy and very warm atmosphere thanks to the architectural characteristics of the rooms, furnished in a simple and comfortable way. The recent renovation has been done preserving the original ceilings with wooden rafters and bricks, the brick arcade and the ancient pigeon loft.

All bedrooms are provided with private bathrooms. Local foodstuffs-based breakfast is served in the hall until 9:30 a.m, except in case of different agreements. At B&B Corte Casone we speak English and German (Marìa), Spanish and French (Consuelo, Giorgio, Marìa). Mariposa and her son Platero, the house mascots, are always ready to be petted by visitors who love animals and their company; if you wish to bring your own pets, they'll be admitted (former agreement is required).
